About this opportunity

Cenovus is seeking students for a unique internship experience in process safety management. As a member of our team, you will work alongside industry-leading professionals on diverse and challenging projects, gaining valuable knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily safety procedure audits and inspections
  • Assist in the delivery of contractor safety training
  • Support process safety initiatives, including PSI, PHA, and MOC
  • Engage with field personnel to promote a strong safety culture

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a Chemical Engineering or Engineering undergraduate program
  • Available to begin work on January 6, 2025
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Valid US Driver's License

Working Conditions

  • May include frequency of travel, sitting, standing, computer work, lifting, driving, and working at site

Safety Sensitive

  • This is a safety-sensitive role requiring the operation of a motor vehicle and wearing Personal Protective Equipment
