About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team at Alstom Gruppe. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing manufacturing processes and associated equipment for new products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes and associated equipment for new products, taking into account industrial policy, existing standards, and project constraints.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Production, to ensure seamless integration of manufacturing processes.
- Perform industrial documentation, including industrial data sheets and process validation plans.
- Estimate manufacturing workload and identify critical process steps for detailed process failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and full functional and performance acceptance inspection (FAR/FAI).
- Collaborate with the industrial costing manager to ensure accurate costing and pricing of manufacturing processes.
- Participate in research and development programs as an industrial representative and perform industrial research and experimentation (REX) on manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- Engineering graduate, preferably in mechanical, electrical, or industrial organization.
- Fluent in English (B2 or assimilated), French would be an asset.
- Manufacturing or manufacturing engineering background with 5-10 years' experience, preferably in the railway industry.
- Technical experience in process engineering, writing manufacturing work instructions, line balancing, and lean manufacturing.
- Experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP, for bill of materials, routings, and configuration follow-up.
- Working knowledge of quality, environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards and ergonomics.
- Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) and product lifecycle management (PLM) tools, such as CATIA and DELMIA.
- Knowledge of process FMEA, quality reliability and quality control (QRQC), and other relevant manufacturing processes.
