Norit Americas, Inc. is a global leader in activated carbon solutions, and we're seeking a talented Area Sales Manager to join our team in the South of Spain.
As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing sales territories, developing strategic sales plans, and fostering strong customer relationships. Your expertise in activated carbon, filtration, and purification technologies will be invaluable in driving sales growth and revenue.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Manage sales territories and sell Norit products to generate target levels of revenue, volume, and margins.
- Develop volume and revenue forecasts, sales plans, and strategies for achieving desired results.
- Drive both current and future value for Norit by building a shared understanding of individual customer and overall portfolio profitability.
- Effectively communicate and negotiate complex sales contracts with customers.
- Identify new market opportunities and target builds; seek out competitive information.
- Establish and maintain processes that ensure accurate budget and forecast information for the business.
- Lead Norit's efforts to establish levels of excellence in sales and distributor management and customer service.
- Provide leadership that assists management in setting strategic initiatives and programs to achieve corporate strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a field of science.
- Previous experience with activated carbon, filtration, and purification technologies, food additives, or water treatment, or working for a distributor is preferred.
- Five or more years of experience in sales.
- Fluent Spanish and English language skills.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Results-driven and business-savvy professional who is able to recognize new business opportunities.
