WIRIS, a software development company based in Barcelona and Long Beach, California, seeks an experienced Technical Support Lead to join our team. With a mission to make people's STEM work more meaningful, we develop tools for education, science, and publishing communities, working closely with industry leaders like Google Workspace, Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas, and Microsoft Office.

We are looking for a talented individual who can lead our technical support team, ensuring excellent customer service, resolving issues efficiently, and continuously improving processes. If you have a passion for technical support, leadership, and teamwork, this role may be the perfect fit for you.

Key Responsibilities:
• Team Management: Identify team needs, manage flaws and blocks, set goals and targets, and prioritize tasks
• Team Tasks Assignment and Prioritization: Coordinate team schedules and allocate tasks effectively
• Training and Development: Provide coaching, training, and feedback to team members
• Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews and motivate team members to achieve their best
• Communication: Supervise communication standards and protocols to ensure high-quality customer service

Requirements:
• Basic programming knowledge and understanding of technological infrastructure
• Strong technical writing skills for creating and maintaining technical documentation
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience in managing teams and prioritizing tasks
• Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
