Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Field Service Engineer UPS to join our team in Barcelona, Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their UPS equipment is running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to service calls in a professional manner, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Read, understand, and comply with all procedures outlined in the Field Procedure Manual.
  • Perform all work in a safe manner, adhering to established company safety policies.
  • Ensure accurate accounting of spare parts, using established parts procedures.
  • Keep the Dispatching Team informed of your schedule and the status of all open jobs.
  • Maintain the accuracy of customer listings by reporting errors.
  • Submit weekly paperwork in a timely, accurate, and complete manner.
  • Keep company vehicles clean, neat, and properly maintained.
  • Report and promote sales or service leads to the proper department.
  • Attend customer meetings as required.
  • Be a reference point for key customers in case of emergency and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure availability to work during weekends and nights, in compliance with local labor laws.
  • Work closely with department supervisors to assist with day-to-day operational duties.

Requirements

  • Secondary school diploma or University degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • Basic Level in English.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in technical service areas, working in a service or test environment of UPS equipment.
  • Computer Literate.
  • Valid Driving License.
  • Travel availability.
  • Weekend availability.
  • Occasional heavy lifting required (30 kg).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Self-starter, ability to effectively plan, organize, and manage time effectively.
