About the Role

Scalapay is a leading fintech company that is revolutionizing the way people shop online and in-store. As a Fraud Strategy Manager, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our mission by developing and implementing effective fraud risk management strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Fraud Risk Management Strategies: You will be responsible for overseeing the development and enhancement of fraud risk management strategies for Scalapay, including identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  2. Monitor and Analyze Fraud Trends: You will be tasked with monitoring performance, detecting early warning signals, and implementing proactive measures to mitigate losses.
  3. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: You will work closely with our Data Science team to optimize our fraud risk models and with product and engineering teams to implement fraud features and models.
  4. Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: You will be responsible for staying current with industry trends and developments in fraud risk management and for identifying opportunities to improve our strategies.
  5. Communicate Effectively with Stakeholders: You will be responsible for communicating effectively with stakeholders, including business leaders, product managers, and engineers, to ensure that our fraud risk management strategies are aligned with business objectives.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 5 Years of Experience: You will need a minimum of 5 years of experience in quantitative statistics, maths, business, or related disciplines.
  2. Experience in Fraud Risk Solutions: Experience in fraud risk solutions is highly desirable.
  3. Strong Analytical Skills: You will need excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and trends to make informed risk decisions.
  4. Self-Starter with a Passion for Problem-Solving: You will need to be a self-starter, motivated by a passion for developing the best possible solutions to problems.
  5. Intellectually Curious and Adaptable: You will need to be intellectually curious and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
