**Job Overview**

At Scalapay, we're revolutionizing the way customers buy online and in-store with our innovative BuyNow PayLater payment solution. As a Fraud Risk Manager, you'll play a critical role in managing Stolen Financial risk and Account Takeover. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the development and enhancement of our fraud risk management strategy, ensuring a balance between loss metrics and customer experience.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and refine the fraud strategy framework, including fraud model strategies and flash fraud surgical rules.
  • Monitor performance, detect early warning signals, and implement proactive measures to mitigate losses.
  • Collaborate with our Data Science team to optimize our fraud risk models and keep the model strategy up-to-date with high performance.
  • Identify trends and develop features by reviewing cases daily to timely capture flash fraud trends and stop loss leakage.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to implement fraud features and models, and enhance solutions.
  • Respond to system issues and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Master large volumes of data, extracting and manipulating datasets using standard tools such as SQL and Python.

**Requirements**

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in quantitative statistics, maths, business, or related disciplines.
  • Experience in fraud risk solutions is highly desirable.
  • Experience in data mining and analysis tools such as Python/SQL.
  • A strong understanding of fraud patterns, including ATO or stolen credit card.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and trends to make informed risk decisions.
  • A self-starter, motivated by a passion for developing the best possible solutions to problems.
  • Intellectually curious and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
