About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead our Risk, Credit and Fraud product strategy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive risk management strategy that addresses some of the most challenging and unsolved financial risk problems in today's Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for Scalapay's risk, fraud, and credit solutions across our products and markets.
- Collaborate with our CRO and data scientist to drive the discovery and development of our risk and fraud strategy.
- Work with our engineering team to manage the entire product lifecycle, from inception to detailed execution.
- Build sophisticated risk solutions at scale to enable Scalapay to grow and launch new products sustainably.
- Monitor market trends, new software, and vendors that could enhance Scalapay's ability to fight digital fraud.
- Drive a cross-functional team to set qualitative objectives and quantitative goals.
- Manage relationships with vendors and providers around the risk and fraud domain.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar; a Master's degree is preferred.
- At least 5+ years of experience in product management and leadership in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Extensive experience and knowledge of online fraud in a digital environment (ecommerce, food delivery, mobility, etc.) is a must.
- Domain expertise in risk, payments, identity, or trust and safety within a marketplace-type environment.
- Fluency in Italian and English (you will work with teams across multiple countries).
- Technical mindset with a passion for keeping abreast of market trends and an ever-changing digital fraud landscape.
- Ability to demonstrate examples of work where you directly influenced product metrics.
- Experience in a regulated environment would be a plus.
