Business Development Manager

Santen, a specialized life sciences company with a 130-year heritage focused on ophthalmology, is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join its team in the Iberia region. This pivotal role will drive strategic market access efforts for Santen's products, aligning business plans and contributing to the mission of improving patient lives.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough local and regional market access landscape assessments to identify changes and trends influencing access.
- Analyze implications for Santen and develop strategies to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Create and maintain strategic market access plans by integrating EMEA market access and pricing strategy.
- Support HTA submissions and authority consultations to articulate value and policy positions.
- Design and prepare submissions to public formularies at the local/hospital level, ensuring access for Santen products with public payers.
- Build and manage relationships with institutions to establish profitable partnerships.
- Maintain pricing strategy and governance/policy to ensure consistency across regions.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the healthcare/life science industry at Spanish sub-regional or national level.
- Field experience and knowledge of pricing mechanisms and regulations in Iberia.
A competitive salary of approximately €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, as well as benefits that reflect our commitment to supporting your professional growth and well-being.
