Job Title: Service Sales Manager for Grid Technologies

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Sales Manager to join our Grid Technologies team at Siemens Energy. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for growing the opportunity pipeline and orders in new and existing markets of Grid Technologies, with a focus on the Service Business.



The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience in the Service Business. You will be responsible for developing and implementing market strategies, building key customer relationships, and negotiating prices with customers.



You will also be responsible for ensuring that the Sales and Tendering processes are implemented in line with Siemens Energy processes and in a compliant and ethical manner. Additionally, you will take ownership of the whole sales process for project opportunities from Lead Management through to Project Handover.



The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers. You will also have a high level of comprehension, strong analytical and structuring skills, strategic thinking, assertiveness, curiosity, and initiative.



Key responsibilities include:




  • Develop and implement market strategies to grow the opportunity pipeline and orders in new and existing markets of Grid Technologies
  • Build key customer relationships with main players such as solar/wind farm developers, IPP, Industrial and EPC
  • Negotiate prices with customers
  • Ensure that the Sales and Tendering processes are implemented in line with Siemens Energy processes and in a compliant and ethical manner
  • Take ownership of the whole sales process for project opportunities from Lead Management through to Project Handover


Requirements:




  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar technical discipline
  • 5 years experience with Substation business will be a preferential expertise
  • Project management experience will be an advantage
  • Excellent/mother-tongue Spanish language mandatory
  • Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
