Company Overview: Hostels is a leading hospitality company seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team.

About the Role: We are looking for a professional who can handle multiple tasks simultaneously, provide exceptional customer service, and lead a team to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership and Teamwork: You will be a great leader and team player, able to motivate and guide your team to achieve our objectives.
  2. Multitasking and Organization: You will be responsible for managing multiple tasks, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines while maintaining a high level of organization and time management.
  3. Customer Service: You will provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that our guests have a positive experience and are satisfied with our services.
  4. Proactivity and Creativity: You will be proactive and creative in finding solutions to problems, improving processes, and implementing new ideas.
  5. Language Proficiency: You will have excellent language skills, with a strong command of English and Spanish, and basic knowledge of Catalan and another language.
  6. Technical Skills: You will have experience working with PMS MEWS and other hospitality systems, including Channel Manager, CRM, RMS, and other relevant software.
  7. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You will be able to communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management, and have excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.
  8. Problem-Solving and Stress Management: You will be able to handle stress and pressure, think critically, and solve problems effectively.
  9. Administrative Tasks: You will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, including payroll, inventory, and other related duties.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: You will have at least 2-3 years of experience as a Receptionist Supervisor/Manager in the Hotel/Hostel industry, with a strong background in hospitality.
  2. Industry Knowledge: You will have a deep understanding of the Hostel concept, guests, and operations, and be familiar with the Hotel industry.
  3. IT Skills: You will have decent IT knowledge, including experience with PMS MEWS and other hospitality systems.
  4. Additional Skills: Any experience from F&B, events/activities, social media, or groups will be an asset.
