About the Role

G-STAR is seeking a highly skilled Digital Trade Specialist to join our E-Commerce team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing our visual merchandising and search optimization strategies across our digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Merchandising & On-Site Search Optimization
    • Implement the visual merchandising (VM) strategy as directed by the Digital Trading Manager, ensuring optimal product placement and page organization.
    • Conduct regular site audits to ensure product displays, recommendations, and search results align with the planned strategy.
    • Assist in optimizing on-site search performance by managing synonyms, filters, and search results to enhance user experience and drive conversions.
    • Assist in setting up and executing A/B tests to validate merchandising strategies and improve site performance.
  • CRM & Content Coordination
    • Ensure that all communications across CRM platforms reflect current seasonality, weather conditions, and stock investments.
    • Regularly check product availability and ensure correct linking within CRM campaigns, newsletters, and push notifications.
    • Assist in the creation and deployment of engaging content that highlights high-investment and best-selling products across the site and within customer communications.
  • Product Performance Reporting
    • Prepare weekly reports on product performance, focusing on page and search performance, and provide insights on trends and areas for improvement.
    • Conduct in-depth analysis on specific products or categories as needed, providing actionable recommendations to the Digital Trading Manager.
    • Monitor and report on competitor activities, identifying gaps and opportunities to inform merchandising strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in e-commerce, digital merchandising, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms.
  • Experience with digital merchandising tools. Algolia experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Experience with Tableau or similar is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and search optimization tools is a plus.
