**Our Opportunity**
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Gas Business Developer to join our team based in Barcelona or Valencia, Spain. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our merchant business across Europe.
**Job Summary**
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales of our applications technology, providing process expertise to onsite bid teams, and managing existing partnerships. You will also support country sales teams, provide input for new developments, and represent Air Products at conferences and exhibitions.
**Responsibilities:**
- Identify new prospects, develop and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and oversee projects.
- Provide process expertise and technology differentiation to onsite bid teams.
- Manage existing partnerships and identify new opportunities for collaboration.
- Support and train country sales teams as needed.
- Represent AP at conferences, exhibitions, and seminars.
**Requirements:**
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A relevant degree (typically engineering-based).
- 5 years of business area/marketing experience within Air Products or a related industry.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Proven commercial and negotiation skills.
- Leadership skills necessary to provide commercial direction.
- Able to communicate at all levels within the company.
- A sound grasp of cash flow analysis and related financial tools.
