Overview

We are a global supplier and manufacturer of optical networking equipment and resellers of refurbished networking devices. Our team is growing, and we're looking for a talented Business Development Manager to join us in the Benelux region.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position ranges from €60,000 to €100,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to your base salary, you will also receive a monthly sales bonus.

About the Role

As our Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for establishing new relationships with large and medium-sized prospects and cultivating existing relationships with clients in the Benelux region. You will work closely with our internal departments to facilitate client needs and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and explain the value of our products.
  • Build trust-based relationships with clients through regular communication and collaboration.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure seamless client need fulfillment.
  • Analyze data to gain insights into consumer behavior and optimize our offerings.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and account notes.
  • Stay up-to-date on company products and services to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Resolve client complaints efficiently and prevent future issues by improving processes.
  • Identify industry trends and opportunities to improve the buyer experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in sales, communications, or a related field (not mandatory).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in Dutch (C1/C2 level) and business fluent English.
  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent active listening skills and ability to build rapport with colleagues and clients.
  • Understanding of customer behaviors and industry trends.
  • Extensive product knowledge, which will be taught on the job.
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar industry, preferably with optical components and networking equipment.
