About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Researcher to join our team at Control Risks. As a Researcher, you will play a critical role in conducting media and database research to uncover reputational and criminal issues, as well as making sense of complex corporate structures and identifying possible political and sanctions exposure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth media and database research using complex search criteria and following a strict methodology
  • Analyze search results within the context of the project and the country
  • Distill conclusions and identify indirect connections from research findings
  • Draft comprehensive reports
Requirements
  • Proven expertise in research techniques, databases, networks, online registers, and archives
  • Demonstrated professional experience in a similar role
  • Education to degree level
  • Native or equivalent fluency in English and Vietnamese
  • Native or equivalent fluency in one of the following (preferred): another European language
  • Demonstrated excellence in research and writing in English
  • Proven ability in the use of Microsoft Office applications or equivalents
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to tight deadlines
  • Ability to summarize large amounts of information in a clear and concise manner
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
