Business Unit Director

At Wheels Logistics Gmbh & Co. Kg, we are seeking an experienced Business Unit Manager to lead our operations in Portugal and Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, management, and optimization of our business units in these regions.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze customer needs and develop tailored solutions to increase revenue in existing business areas.
- Build a sustainable network of customers and business partners to drive significant growth.
- Lead a decentralized team in Spain and Portugal, implementing personnel measures and promoting employee development.
- Identify new business opportunities and ensure successful implementation with new clients and suppliers.
- Monitor and manage financial and operational key figures, ensuring effective resource utilization.
- Experience in new customer acquisition and building long-term customer relationships.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to work across different locations.
- A degree in Logistics and/or Business Administration or equivalent qualifications.
- Excellent communication skills in Spanish, Portuguese, English, and ideally German.
- High self-motivation, assertiveness, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- A dynamic and engaged team that strives for excellence.
