Food & Beverage Supervisor Job Description

SLS Barcelona, a five-star urban resort, is seeking a skilled Food & Beverage Supervisor to join its pre-opening team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service and maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the food and beverage team to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation.
  • Support the Outlet Manager in maintaining efficient operations and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant and adherence to HACCP standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and experience.
  • Manage food and beverage inventory, control costs, and analyze sales data to optimize performance.
  • Train and supervise staff on control policies and procedures, ensuring excellent service and adherence to standards.
  • Monitor cash handling procedures and manage stock items effectively.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverage to meet set standards.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in hospitality, preferably in food and beverage management.
  • Some college and/or advanced training in food and beverage management is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain high attention to detail.
