Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Manager to lead our GenAI team in establishing Generative AI video services for all OLX customer units. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and deploying disruptive Generative AI video services at scale across all OLX platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Data Science aspects in the Video Pack, building models, testing, and deploying them to production.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, translating business requirements into achievable projects and collaborating with other teams to get things done in an elegant and timely manner.
  • Work with Product Analytics to track KPIs of different ML use cases and measure the impact for our customers.
  • Partner with the Experimentation team to integrate KPIs and their proxies to the Experimentation platform.
  • Work in multi-functional teams, in a diverse, multinational environment, filled with people from various backgrounds.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills, solid background in statistics and modeling, and good knowledge of Python.
  • At least 4 years of experience with Machine Learning (supervised, unsupervised, etc.) and good knowledge of NLP and Deep Learning.
  • Good understanding of engineering best practices, including testing, CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, and containers.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and experience with MLOps.
  • Proficient in English with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills and able to work in diverse, multi-functional teams.
