About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Science Manager to lead our team in building and sustaining PepsiCo's proprietary forecasting engine. As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for developing a sustainable analytical toolkit, managing requests from market-specific teams, and working closely with business stakeholders to drive data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a robust forecasting engine using statistical and machine learning models
  • Manage and prioritize requests from various business teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality analytics solutions
  • Collaborate with data engineers and other data teams to ensure data readiness and accessibility for model consumption
  • Communicate complex analytics concepts to business stakeholders and drive adoption of data-driven decision making
  • Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate analytics solutions and drive continuous improvement
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience as a data science manager, leading scalable developments of data scientists and ML engineers
  • Experience building solutions in the supply chain space, particularly in demand planning
  • 8+ years of experience in statistical/ML techniques to solve supervised and unsupervised problems, particularly in time series forecasting
  • Fluent in Git and experience with distributed machine learning
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to deal with ambiguity
