Job Summary

As a Business Development Manager at TD SYNNEX, you will play a critical role in driving strategic growth and expanding our presence in the IT industry. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in channel and vendor partnerships to develop and execute business plans that drive revenue growth and market share expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business plans to drive revenue growth and market share expansion in strategic segments.
  • Negotiate key tenders and large deals with vendors, leveraging your knowledge of their product/service lines.
  • Optimize results by driving sales from assigned vendor portfolios, including new vendor identification, onboarding, and business development initiatives.
  • Build successful proposals by gathering customer information and planning effective approaches that demonstrate an understanding of requirements.
  • Take solution and service offerings to market, including Technology as a Service (TaaS).
  • Own quarterly vendor business planning and execution, ensuring alignment with business unit strategies.
  • Enable and support sales teams to win and grow share of wallet and market share.
  • Maintain relationships and engagement with vendors and stakeholders to ensure TD SYNNEX is seen as a trusted advisor.
  • Ensure ongoing use of CRM tools to ensure best-in-class business continuity.
  • Maintain full knowledge of assigned vendor product/service lines.
Requirements
  • Good emotional intelligence and ability to communicate effectively with customers.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the IT industry with channel and/or vendor at a business development level, ideally from a sales or product marketing background.
  • Strong orientation towards and experience in services and solution selling.
  • Strategic planning and business case development experience.
  • Experience working within a matrix structure.
  • Proven ability to self-manage in an external environment.
  • Business planning experience with strong operational cadence.
