Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at Mass Markets. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day accounting functions, including invoicing, manual check application, aging reports, and account reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs Accounts Receivable functions, including invoicing, manual check application, aging reports, and account reconciliation.
  • Enters routine journal entries and bank transactions.
  • Enters AR payments and credit card transactions if needed.
  • Performs month-end closing and reconciliation.
  • Reconciles, investigates, corrects, and adjusts accounting information.
  • Performs bank reconciliation.
  • Supports department peers as needed.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Combinations of Training and Experience.
  • 2 years of accrual basis accounting working experiences, including accounts receivable, journal entries, month-end closing and reconciliation, and bank reconciliation.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to interact within all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrates ability to successfully plan, organize and manage projects.
  • Detail-oriented, excellent proofreading and editing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, organized, able to prioritize and work independently.
  • Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.
