About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Key Account Manager to join our team at Alpiq. As a key member of our commercial organization, you will be responsible for developing and managing our supply and origination business with large energy consumers and producers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attract and retain new customers for electricity and gas supply, as well as generating opportunities in energy services for electrification and other similar projects in the Iberian energy market.
  • Manage assigned clients according to commercial organization, ensuring comprehensive and effective commercial management.
  • Generate and negotiate opportunities in Wholesale Business and Origination with physical and financial PPAs.
  • Collaborate with internal Business Areas in Alpiq Group to develop and manage supply contracts and collaboration agreements.
  • Lead the development of the Business Case in collaboration with internal stakeholders and foster the network of commercial relationships in Spain and Portugal.
  • Generate opportunities for GoO sales to monetize the Origination Business GoO portfolio in cooperation with SEM and the Origination team.
  • Report on commercial activity and contribute to the development of procedures and systems to improve the Commercialisation Business.

About You

  • At least 5 years of experience performing similar functions in the energy sector.
  • Experience and good knowledge of energy markets: electricity, gas, wholesale and origination; and knowledge of PPA structuring models.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Office package and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrable network with clients in the energy sector with a focus on large consumers and renewable generation counterparties.
  • Experience in buying and selling physical and financial PPAs and/or experience in Supply Market in Portugal.
  • Fluency in English (C1).
