About the Role
The Territory Sales Manager for Dental Implants will be responsible for driving sales growth and account penetration within an assigned territory/group of customers. This role will focus on promoting, selling, and securing orders from existing and prospective customers for the Straumann Dental Implant portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve maximum sales growth and account penetration within the assigned territory/group of customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers at target accounts, identifying their needs, business issues, and aspirations.
- Conduct individual needs analysis as part of sales conversations to understand customer requirements and preferences.
- Represent Straumann Group products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding of the prospective accounts' needs and objectives.
- Overcome objections and effectively communicate Straumann Group's offering and value propositions to key decision makers.
- Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential opportunities.
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of prospects.
- Contribute to the success of the organization through generating leads and opportunities for the broader Straumann Group team.
- Identify and pursue upselling opportunities to existing client base.
Requirements
- Dental sector experience and technical product knowledge is a strong advantage.
- Sales experience, with a history of exceeding lead targets, with a proven ability to quote and close is essential.
- Self-starter, highly driven, and well-organized with excellent administration skills.
- Excellent listening and communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to understand measurement tools to track progress and results.
- Ability to understand the sales process and pipeline, and be able to research prospects, connect, educate, and offer solutions to qualify a prospect.
- Thrives on building internal and external relationships, and upholds and reflects the brand reputation with an ethical approach to sales.
- Team player and a strong desire to learn and succeed, with a proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
