About the Role

Takeda is seeking a visionary leader to drive business growth and excellence as the Head of Business Unit GI & Vaccines. As a key member of the Iberia Leadership Team, you will be responsible for setting the vision and strategy for the business unit, ensuring the successful execution of brand and key account plans to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a dynamic team dedicated to redefining industry standards, fostering collaboration, and championing a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement targeted patient programs to support access to medicines and compliance, while fostering a customer-centric mindset where patient needs come first.
  • Take ownership of the P&L for the BU and drive performance with innovative sales and digital marketing strategies, including omnichannel and modular content approaches.
  • Ensure customer-centricity and prioritize patient outcomes, setting targets, monitoring achievements, and coaching employees.
  • Uphold compliance with laws, regulations, company strategies, and Takeda's corporate philosophy to support our overall objectives and drive business success.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of leadership and business growth in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong strategic vision and ability to drive business excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
  • Ability to prioritize patient outcomes and drive customer-centricity.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance.
