The Director of Global Compensation and Benefits is responsible for the strategic oversight and management of all compensation and employee benefits initiatives across the organization. The Director will provide expert guidance to various departments and locations, ensuring adherence to these standards while exploring innovative compensation solutions that enhance employee engagement and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the organization’s compensation philosophy, including pay structures, variable compensation, and benefits offerings.
- Collaborate with leadership to formulate and execute both short-term and long-term financial plans aligned with corporate objectives and growth strategies.
- Conduct comprehensive salary benchmarking to refine the compensation strategy and identify enhancements that benefit employees and the organization.
- Lead the annual salary review process to ensure competitive compensation practices.
- Oversee variable compensation programs, ensuring compliance with established guidelines and timelines.
- Advise HR and department leaders on competitive compensation rates and benefits to support employee retention and recognition efforts.
- Design and manage relocation policies and programs.
- Select and manage external partners, including benefits vendors and brokers.
- Negotiate advantageous rates for global and local employee benefits and services.
- Review and update employee benefits policies to ensure they remain competitive and compliant with legal standards.
- Manage the enrollment process, eligibility criteria, and maintain accurate records through regular audits.
- Assist HR and management with payroll processes to guarantee accuracy and punctuality.
- Promote and communicate the company’s benefits and compensation policies effectively.
- Analyze payroll budgets against actual expenditures across all departments.
- Collaborate with company leaders to establish guidelines for equity-sharing initiatives.
- Administer equity-sharing programs for all employees.
- Ensure compliance with local compensation and benefits regulations throughout the budgeting and operational processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 7 years of demonstrated experience in international compensation and benefits management.
- Experience in a public company setting, preferably within the USA.
- Hands-on approach to team collaboration.
- Proven knowledge of corporate relocation programs and vendor management.
- Strong skills in data analysis and reporting.
- Experience managing compensation and benefits across multiple countries.
- Familiarity with public company compensation committee processes.
