Job Description

At PayPal, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Manager to join our Iberia team based in Madrid. As a Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and building long-term client relationships with our largest merchants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow PayPal's acceptance at defined targets across Iberia in the selected sector(s).
  • Build strong relationships with PayPal teams, including Finance, Pricing, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, Product, and Integration, to enable efficient interaction between PayPal and merchants.
  • Partner with merchants to deliver best-in-class online and mobile payments/check-out experiences to drive incremental sales.
  • Manage client relationships in conjunction with a Customer Success Manager and Account Executive.
  • Closely work with Product, Marketing, and Risk teams to enhance PayPal's value proposition and design tailored solutions.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of sales experience, ideally in e-commerce, payments, or financial services.
  • Deep knowledge of e-commerce, retail, or payment industry is desirable and genuine interest in digital, mobile commerce, and innovation is a must.
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills, comfortable presenting and negotiating with e-commerce managers/directors and senior executives (CxO).
  • Strong cross-functional project management skills, comfortable in a complex selling environment with multiple decision-makers at many levels both internally and externally.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish. Portuguese is a plus.
