Internship OverviewThe Sales Development Intern will be part of Hosco's Commercial division, supporting Market Research and Sales processes. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in core functions, build business acumen, and develop teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities- Market Research (30%):
- Conduct market intelligence gathering to inform business decisions and support Industry Relations Sales team.
- Source target prospects using various sales tools and prioritize them for database enrichment.
- Assign prospects within assigned territories and Sales Development Representative (SDR) agents.
- Sales (70%):
- Learn and utilize CRM software (Salesforce) to create reports and dashboards.
- Cold call prospects to obtain key information and meet qualified lead criteria.
- Track prospects, identify decision makers, timelines, hot-buttons, and qualifications, and enter data accurately into the company's CRM.
- Generate interest and create needs with potential clients.
- Support the Sales team with presentations and other projects to improve the Sales funnel.
- Currently studying a Bachelor's or Master's degree or online course and able to provide an internship agreement.
- Commit to an internship of 6 months, ideally full-time (39 hours per week).
- Naturally curious and strong willingness to learn.
- Data-driven.
- Great communicator and team player.
- High level of English and French/Italian/Spanish/Portuguese/Arabic language proficiency.
- Eligible to work in Barcelona.
