We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Underwriting Assistant to join our team at QBE Insurance Group. As an Underwriting Assistant, you will provide technical and administrative support to our underwriting team, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation of underwriting data and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues, customers, and brokers.
- Contribute to the recording and measurement of insurance risks to ensure accuracy and adherence to relevant performance standards.
- Prepare documents and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support the production of management information statistics and reports to inform business planning and decision-making.
- Previous experience in an underwriting or insurance-related role.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to work to deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of the insurance industry.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Access.
