Key Responsibilities- Underwriting Support: Assist in the evaluation and assessment of insurance risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to underwriting standards.
- Data Management: Capture and maintain accurate underwriting data on our systems, minimizing risk and ensuring high-quality output of information.
- Research and Reporting: Conduct research and prepare reports to support the underwriting team in the business planning process, including the production of management information statistics and reports.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the underwriting team, ensuring the delivery of a professional service.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver superior service standards, maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in an underwriting assistant role or a related field.
- Organization and Communication Skills: Excellent organization skills, with the ability to work to deadlines and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Commercial Awareness: Commercially aware and able to adapt to changing business requirements.
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
