Operations - Senior Underwriting Assistant Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Underwriting Assistant to join our Operations team in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing support to our Underwriting teams and ensuring the efficient administration of our policy lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract handling and management, including checking conditions of acceptance, interacting with customers, and developing draft contracts and amendments.
- Supporting the Credit Control team with cash allocation and monitoring of outstanding unpaid premiums.
- Managing information, including preparing and sending weekly reports, premium flows, and local policies instructions.
- Developing expert-level knowledge of our tools for Global Programs implementation and following up on new guidelines.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in insurance companies in similar roles.
- Proven experience in managing Global Programs and complex accounts.
- Fluent Spanish and English (minimum C1 level CEFR).
- Demonstrated experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills combined with a strong work ethic.
- Proactive attitude facing challenges and strong organizational skills.
