We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Underwriting Operations Technician to join our Nordics team based in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will provide consistent and efficient end-to-end support for online and offline business handled in the Underwriting Centre, as well as support for language-dependent tasks in branch.
Key Responsibilities- Support Branch Activities: Provide language skills and technical ability to support rules-based branch activities.
- Data Input and Quality: Input relevant information in rating tools, maintaining data quality through accurate input.
- Operational Support: Offer operational support to underwriters for online and offline business in the Hub.
- Broker Management: Manage broker queries related to online and offline business, building good working relationships with local brokers.
- Operations QA and Reporting: Own centralized processes of Operations QA and reporting.
- Compliance and Ethics: Work within the framework of our ethical and service standards.
- Language Skills: Native or advanced level in Swedish and/or Danish, with professional language skills in English.
- Insurance Background: Previous experience in an underwriting support role is a plus, with an insurance background preferred.
- Technical Skills: Competent in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with strong customer service skills and customer-centric attitude.
- Problem Resolution: Strong attention to detail and the desire to deliver and improve quality, with problem resolution and decision-making skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work in a team environment as well as on own initiative.
