About the Role

The Senior Account Manager will play a key role in establishing connections with key players in the dairy and lactose industries, focusing on defense and growth strategies for Kerry's Lactase business and expanding its reach into the dairy end-user market.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Defend and grow current business and profitability of products sold to customers.
  2. Identify new business opportunities and develop attack plans in alignment with Kerry's business unit strategic plans.
  3. Prospect and close new business opportunities through custom product and integrated solution selling to deliver profitable growth.
  4. Manage a portfolio of key accounts.
  5. Develop strategic relationships within customers' organizations, including R&D, marketing, and procurement, and foster counterpart relationships within Kerry.
  6. Comply with all relevant Kerry systems and processes.
Requirements and Qualifications
  1. 10-15 years of experience in sales and account management, with a strong technical capability that contributes to winning new business.
  2. Experience in business development or selling in the lactose ingredients industry.
  3. Good working knowledge of food science and its application to product development and commercialization.
  4. Strong negotiating skills to achieve successful outcomes for Kerry.
  5. Fluency in Spanish and English is essential, with Italian and French being a plus.
  6. Willingness to travel up to 60%.
