We are seeking a highly skilled Agency Risk Specialist to join our WFS Agency Management Team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the performance of allocated third-party staffing agencies across Spain, ensuring they meet our contractual metrics and deliver high-quality services to our business.
Key Responsibilities- Performance Monitoring and Vendor Management: Own the relationship with allocated third-party staffing agencies, monitoring their performance and holding them accountable for delivery against pre-agreed contractual metrics.
- Partnership and Advisory Role: Partner with staffing agencies, using your functional expertise to remove blockers that impact agency performance and support them in achieving their goals.
- Agency Risk Management: Collaborate with the Agency Risk team and OpsPXT partners to address repeated agency underperformance or escalations, working closely with the Business Management team to resolve issues.
- Reviews and Audits: Conduct in-depth formal reviews and audits with staffing agencies to inspect their readiness for event days, peak, and launch hiring, and monitor their completion of required actions in a timely manner.
- Tactical Initiatives: Lead and contribute to cross-business line and country proposals for tactical initiatives that improve temporary labor hiring outcomes, taking into account both business and third-party staffing agency considerations.
- Strategic Programs: Represent staffing agency requirements and considerations in cross-functional strategic programs at territory and/or country level, including technology, product, policy, or process changes.
- Transformation Programs: Support cross-functional transformation programs to define territory-level strategies regarding third-party staffing agency usage.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent: A degree in a relevant field, such as business, operations, or a related field.
- Experience in Volume Staffing: Proven experience in volume staffing, capacity planning, operations, or an associated function.
- Vendor Management Experience: Experience managing vendors across large geographical regions.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and Excel skills, with the ability to work with complex data sets.
We are looking for candidates with:
- Masters Degree or Equivalent: A postgraduate degree in a relevant field, such as business, operations, or a related field.
- Senior Stakeholder Experience: Previous experience partnering with senior, cross-functional stakeholders to determine goals, inform decisions, and design long-term solutions.
- Commercial Experience: Experience managing commercial multi-site master vendor contingency agencies or Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) models.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to deliver independently and take the lead on tactical and strategic initiatives.
- Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with good judgment and the ability to evaluate and make trade-offs between short-term and long-term needs.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to handle complex problems, decisions, and escalations.
- Communication Skills: Skilled mediator, able to balance conflicting priorities and find a path forward in difficult situations.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Comfortable using data and evidence to convey ideas and recommendations on complex topics that scale across regions.
- Adaptability: Adaptable and flexible to respond to changing business needs while maintaining velocity.
- Team Player: An enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment.
