About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Loan Agency team as an Assistant Vice President. This is a key role that will play a critical part in the success of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior managers in closing deals and ensuring timely completion of transactions.
- Manage the administration and bookkeeping of loan transactions, including setting interest periods and reference interest rates.
- Coordinate with clients to ensure effective management of their responsibilities and adherence to regulatory and statutory deadlines.
- Calculate settlements and amounts to be paid by borrowers and lenders in accordance with loan agreements.
- Oversee the management of loan administration for various jurisdictions, including the UK, NY, Japan, and other regions with loan agency needs.
- Coordinate communications with borrowers, lenders, and other stakeholders as required by loan agreements.
- Participate in meetings and conference calls to discuss loan administration and other related matters.
- Manage and coordinate the registration of communications and issues raised among borrowers, lenders, and other stakeholders.
- Execute instructions to make payments of interest and principal from borrowers to lenders on each payment date.
- Provide training and support to other team members and jurisdictions as needed.
- Collaborate with the IT team to develop in-house software solutions.
- Manage and coordinate syndicated guarantees facilities and factoring facilities.
