Commercial Director Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Director Assistant to join our team at Catenon. As a key member of our sales and marketing department, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and maximizing profits for our hotel in Barcelona.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Commercial Director in developing and implementing revenue strategies to achieve budgeted top line revenue and RevPAR.
- Oversee the Sales and Events Department, including developing action plans, forecasting, and evaluating trends to modify strategies for revenue enhancement.
- Lead by example, assisting in leading, training, and mentoring group/events sales managers to identify opportunities for improvement and develop their skills.
- Develop and implement sales action plans for the group, corporate, leisure, and catering segments for the sales and event team, including goal setting and quarterly review of KSOs and team results.
- Analyze forecast, cost, and revenue reports to make sales strategy decisions and ensure hotel RevPAR and good positioning within the competitive set.
- Organize and participate in fam trips, plan and attend sales blitzes/missions for the hotel group in key markets, and attend meetings as assigned.
- Develop and maintain market trends and competitive set data knowledge to contribute to revenue strategies, regularly research and remain current with Sales and Marketing trends.
- Assist in the production of the annual hotel business plan, plan and manage sales resources according to agreed-upon budgets, and lead property groups/Transient meetings to ensure revenue maximization and profit.
- Ensure hotel credit procedures and audit guidelines are followed, manage relevant reporting of management and financial information for the sales department, and maintain fluent contact with partners to acquire new business and increase awareness of the hotel.
