About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join our team at VOLPAK. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our international customers in the consumer packaged goods/pharma industry.

Your primary objective will be to drive business growth and achieve commercial targets in terms of revenues, gross margin, and customer satisfaction. To achieve this, you will work closely with our Coesia HQ and client business units, operating in a matrix organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining and annually updating the strategic plan for the customer to drive business development
  • Creating and implementing the yearly Key Account Planner to achieve short and long-term targets
  • Coordinating all activities related to the global key account, assigning roles to various people involved with the customer
  • Managing and developing the long-term relationship with the assigned account, understanding customer priorities and influencing customer strategy to deploy Coesia solutions
  • Setting pricing and terms & conditions jointly with Coesia companies, leading negotiations and agreements definition
  • Defining the target service level to meet customer expectations, monitoring customer satisfaction, and driving actions to raise the bar
  • Regularly updating Coesia leadership team and companies' management on strategy, plans, activities, and results pertaining to the key account

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Engineering or Economics or equivalent
  • Meaningful and proven sales leadership experience in structured B2B industrial sectors, with a comprehensive knowledge of the FMCG markets
  • Fluency in English; speaking other languages would be a plus
  • Willingness to travel worldwide up to 40% of working time
  • Strategic mindset and results-oriented approach
  • Comfortable working in a matrix and complex organization
  • Self-driven and self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously
  • Supportive and proactive
