Position Overview: The Product Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in assisting account managers to cultivate new business opportunities, targeting both new clients and existing customers of Clarivate. Reporting to the IP Segment Sales Manager, this position is ideal for a dynamic sales professional eager to enhance sales within the Intellectual Property sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve or surpass the sales objectives set for your territory, focusing on new business acquisition.
  • Provide accurate forecasts to your direct supervisor, maintaining consistent communication throughout the month.
  • Engage effectively with customers and prospects, adhering to Clarivate's established sales cycle, which includes a structured process in Salesforce.
  • Continuously enhance your knowledge of Clarivate's product offerings relevant to the user base.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of competitor products and services to effectively position Clarivate's solutions.
  • Actively engage in team meetings and events, sharing insights on customers, products, and sales strategies with the broader team.
  • Maintain the required volume of meetings as outlined by Sales Management.
  • Responsible for creating and updating account profiles, generating quotes, and finalizing deals.
  • Identify potential targets and develop contact lists for key roles within existing client organizations.

  • A proactive self-starter, unafraid to take initiative and generate innovative ideas for business development.
  • Fluency in Spanish, Italian, or French at a business level is essential.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of experience, including at least 2 years in sales.
  • Driven and motivated to exceed sales targets.
  • Exceptional skills in sales, account management, and presentations.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • General knowledge of Salesforce utilization.
  • Curious, adaptable, and competitive in nature.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency in Webex, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is preferred.
  • A desire for career growth in a fast-paced setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Information Technology, Legal Services, or Information Services is advantageous.
  • Experience in the Intellectual Property field is a plus.
  • Experience collaborating with global teams.

Team Dynamics: This role is part of a team of 8 IP Product Sales Managers across the EMEA region, reporting to the Manager of Segment Sales.

Work Environment: This is a full-time permanent position with a hybrid work model, requiring 2-3 days per week in the office.
