Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities to meet efficiency and safety objectives.
- Recruit, train, and manage maintenance staff to foster a collaborative and motivating work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and develop training plans for maintenance technicians.
- Manage the maintenance department budget and optimize resource utilization.
- Evaluate and approve equipment purchases and supplies necessary for maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations in all maintenance activities.
- Implement and supervise safety and training programs for maintenance personnel.
- Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and implement continuous improvement strategies.
- Plan and coordinate major maintenance projects, including equipment installation and upgrades.
- Collaborate with other departments and suppliers to ensure project execution.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and prepare regular reports on equipment status and KPIs.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with maintenance service and supply providers.
- Evaluate supplier performance and ensure quality and service standards are met.
- Technical degree or industrial engineering, electromechanics, automation, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a maintenance management role in an industrial environment.
- Solid knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance techniques and project management.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations applicable to industrial maintenance.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems efficiently and effectively.
- Knowledge in the use of maintenance management software (CMMS).
