Job Objective:
We are in search of a highly qualified and experienced Customs Broker Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be tasked with facilitating customs import operations, providing effective operational support, and ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction. A solid background in international trade and logistics, along with a degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Customs agent, is essential.
Key Duties:
Deliver exceptional customer service and support to clients, ensuring their requirements are addressed promptly and efficiently. Propose solutions to challenges and resolve issues critical to enhancing performance and profitability for both our organization and the customer on a daily basis. Consistently monitor all customs clearance and compliance procedures to guarantee smooth and efficient operations. Engage in customer visits to promote Customs services when necessary. Communicate and collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including Customs Authorities, Maersk offices, and the client's organization, to cultivate strong relationships and ensure mutual benefits.Desired Qualifications:
Degree in International Trade or a related discipline (preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft applications. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Customs agent, with a comprehensive understanding of import processes across various modes (ocean, air, truck, etc.) and customs locations. Strong knowledge of customs regulations, forwarding, and shipping practices. Excellent communication abilities, ensuring high-level interactions with key stakeholders and internal team members. Collaborative mindset and the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively. Process-oriented work ethic with exceptional attention to detail. Resilient team player who is goal-focused and demonstrates a high level of commitment, capable of working with minimal supervision. Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English (B2 or higher is mandatory).Ideal Candidate:
