Role ResponsibilitiesThis position reports to the B2B Acceptance team within VBS. Our mission in B2B Acceptance is to pinpoint needs, evaluate opportunities, and swiftly act on our vision while ensuring effective execution. This role is specifically tasked with cultivating and enhancing merchant relationships across multiple CEMEA markets. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of leading B2B merchants in CEMEA markets generating over 1 billion in payment volume for Visa.
- Adopting a consultative and strategic approach to thoroughly understand merchants' card acceptance processes and challenges.
- Identifying B2B growth opportunities through agreements with both accepting and non-accepting merchants-suppliers, thereby increasing B2B commercial volume via Acquisition-Expansion, Partnership, or Relationship management.
- Collaborating with internal and external partners to comprehend business needs and local market dynamics.
- Providing active leadership within the broader B2B Acceptance team and the VBS organization.
- Ensuring that merchants-suppliers optimize their acceptance environment through the use of suitable tools and solutions.
- Actively developing acceptance agreements with suppliers-merchants to position Visa as the preferred choice for commercial payments.
- Driving in-depth analytics and deal-modeling leadership, working closely with regional Account Executives and Business Development teams, VBS Sales Specialists, and other functions.
This role may require up to 10-20% travel.
Work ArrangementThis is a hybrid role. Employees in hybrid positions can alternate between remote and office work. It is expected that hybrid employees will work from the office 2-3 designated days a week, as determined by leadership, with a general guideline of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications- Significant experience in business development, strategy, and relationship management.
- Proven expertise in establishing and managing relationships with stakeholders across large enterprises.
- Experience in commercial payments, particularly with B2B merchants.
- Strong business, commercial, and financial acumen, with the ability to build credibility and guide key clients and internal stakeholders.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Experience in client management, especially within a consulting context.
- Ability to structure, manage, and coordinate complex, goal-oriented initiatives with multiple senior-level stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including presentation abilities.
