Overview

The Director of Revenue Optimization is a key member of the hotel's Commercial Strategy team, responsible for driving revenue growth and maximizing profits. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of revenue growth strategies, aligning with the hotel's overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and implement tactical plans to achieve these goals.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to inform revenue growth strategies.
  • Manage and analyze data to optimize pricing, inventory allocation, and revenue management processes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including ownership, corporate teams, and external partners.
  • Provide training and support to revenue management teams to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to drive revenue growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve revenue management processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in revenue management or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
