About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and international environment, where you will be responsible for supporting the development of ESG policies and strategies, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with our ESG team to embed environmental, social, and governance factors into our everyday work and culture.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Head of ESG in developing ESG deliverables to meet internal and external requirements
- Interpret ESG regulatory developments and provide impact assessments
- Be a go-to-person for generalist ESG knowledge within the Bank
- Shape ESG policies and strategy documents
- Support the preparation and smooth operations of the MBE ESG committee
- University degree in sustainability management, economics, business management, or a relevant field
- Additional post-graduate ESG/climate risk/sustainability qualifications are a plus
- 3-5 years of job experience in banking or financial services required
- At least 3 years of experience in ESG/sustainability management in a financial services context preferred
- Very good familiarity with key ESG regulatory developments in the EU
- Awareness of and ability to develop key ESG policy or strategy requirements
