Job Title: ESG Compliance Manager

CHEP, a leading global supply chain solutions provider, is seeking an ESG Compliance Manager to support the implementation of European Sustainability reporting standards (ESRS) & Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directives (CSRD) across multiple European businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the adoption of ESRS & CSRD across European businesses, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct double materiality assessments and gap assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain effective ESG compliance controls in the European region.
  • Assist in responding to external & internal audits, ensuring seamless compliance.
  • Establish processes, control environment, and tools for ESG reporting, ensuring consistency and standardization.
  • Manage relationships with external advisors to ensure European ESG compliance.
  • Oversee the collection and archiving of documentation to support European ESG compliance.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience in multinational environments, with a focus on sustainability reporting.
  • Experience in dealing with internal & external stakeholders, with a strong understanding of ESG reporting requirements.
  • Ability to manage both internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as accounting or finance.
  • Hybrid remote work arrangement, with occasional travel to European locations.
