European ESG Compliance Manager

The European ESG Compliance Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of European Sustainability reporting standards (ESRS) and Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directives (CSRD) across multiple European businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and implementation of effective ESG compliance controls in the European region.
  • Collaborate with senior management to conduct double materiality assessments and gap assessments.
  • Assist in the setup of the reporting tool and ensure its effective use in ESG reporting.
  • Develop and maintain effective ESG compliance processes and controls.
  • Manage relationships with external advisors and stakeholders to ensure compliance with European ESG regulations.
  • Oversee the collection and archiving of documentation to support ESG compliance.
  • Establish and maintain a control environment, tools, and working instructions for ESG reporting.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a multinational environment.
  • Experience in dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Accounting and finance experience (desirable).
  • Experience in sustainability reporting across multiple European entities.
