ESG Project Manager Job Description

GSK is seeking a highly skilled ESG Project Manager to join our team. As an ESG Project Manager, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and managing ESG initiatives within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the preparation of ESG reports for regulatory compliance and public disclosure.
  • Assess environmental, social, and governance practices within the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG considerations into business strategies and operations.
  • Analyze and interpret ESG-related data and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in stakeholder engagement activities and address inquiries about ESG practices.
  • Stay updated on emerging ESG trends, best practices, and regulatory developments to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in environmental science, sustainability, business, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of sustainability principles, ESG frameworks, and relevant regulations.
  • Proven experience as an ESG Specialist or in a similar role.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in conducting ESG assessments, analyzing data, and identifying material issues.
  • Familiarity with ESG reporting standards and frameworks (e.g., EINF, CSRD, GRI, TCFD) and experience in preparing sustainability reports.
  • Ability to develop and implement ESG strategies, policies, and frameworks tailored to the organization's objectives and industry.
  • Financial acumen to link sustainability initiatives to business value and articulate the financial implications of ESG practices.
  • Experience in conducting stakeholder engagement and managing relationships with key stakeholders.
