ESG Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ESG Manager to lead our sustainability efforts and integrate environmental, social, and governance principles into our operations. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving our company's long-term value and contributing to sustainable development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Integrate ESG Strategies: Align ESG initiatives with our company's mission, vision, and goals to ensure they contribute to sustainable growth.
  • Ensure Compliance and Risk Management: Identify and assess ESG-related risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to manage these effectively.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate our ESG initiatives, listen to stakeholder concerns, and incorporate their feedback into ESG strategies.
  • ESG Reporting and Disclosure: Prepare ESG reports and disclosures that provide transparent information about our ESG performance.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor our ESG performance against set goals and industry benchmarks, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Culture and Awareness: Raise awareness and train employees about the importance of ESG issues, and develop training programs to embed ESG principles into our company culture.
  • Staying Informed: Stay up-to-date with emerging ESG trends, innovations, and best practices, and explore new ways to enhance our sustainability efforts.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility, or a related field.
  • Additional Education/Skills: Strong ESG knowledge, including regulatory requirement compliance, decarbonization plans, GHG emission management, and sustainability data coordination.
  • Language Skills: Spanish (Native), English (Fluent), and French (Desirable).
  • Experience: 5 years of proven experience in a Corporate ESG Department or ESG Consultancy, sustainability, or a related role, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector.
