ESG Regulatory Specialist

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and international environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement ESG strategies and policies. As an ESG Regulatory Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Interpreting and implementing ESG regulatory developments to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
  • Supporting the Head of ESG in developing ESG deliverables, including policy and strategy documents
  • Coordinating the implementation of ESG/sustainability initiatives driven by MUFG global and EMEA
  • Providing ESG knowledge and expertise to support other divisions in their ESG journey and implementations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • University degree in sustainability management, economics, business management, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in banking or financial services, with a focus on ESG and sustainability
  • Strong understanding of ESG regulatory developments in the EU and their application in a financial institution context
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
