Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our technical operations team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to computer hardware and peripheral equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair technical problems or issues related to computer hardware and peripheral equipment.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations to resolve business problems.
- Enter commands and activate controls on computer and peripheral equipment to integrate and operate equipment.
- Maintain and upgrade hardware and software, including peripherals and website technical architecture related to hardware and telecommunication connectivity.
- Report work-related accidents or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to management.
- Identify and correct unsafe work procedures or conditions and report them to management and security/safety personnel.
- Follow property-specific procedures for handling emergency situations.
- Communicate effectively with other employees to exchange information and resolve issues.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No related work experience required.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No license or certification required.
