Job Description

Olympus Europa SE & Co. KG is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist in Urology to promote and educate about our medical devices, as well as provide technical support to medical professionals and the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Product and Procedure Demonstration: The Clinical Specialist must have a deep understanding of the therapy area of our products and be able to confidently advise on both the products and procedures.
  2. Interact with clinical staff during the pre-sales process to enhance the credibility of our products.
  3. Support and provide assistance to the sales network in the operation of demonstration equipment at client premises.
  4. Maintain detailed knowledge of the assigned products and procedures, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of competitors.
  5. Participate in coordinating the Marketing Plan and Action Plan alongside the Division's Product Managers.
  6. Conduct market studies on our products and their competitors.
  7. Maintain continuous contact with the market and clients to retain customers and identify business opportunities.
  8. Participate in the technical analysis of public tenders and description of our offerings.
Demonstration Equipment Management:
  1. Manage product inventory, including additions and removals, and oversee stock levels of the items under their responsibility in collaboration with the Purchasing department.
  2. Oversee the procurement and maintenance of the demo equipment used by sales representatives for product demonstrations.
  3. Maintain the Demo Hub products in optimal condition.
Training, Promotion, Relationship Building, and Representation:
  1. Attend conferences (scientific meetings) or any event aimed at promoting and showcasing the features of our products.
  2. Participate in sales division/business line meetings where their presence is required.
  3. Deliver training courses on the product line and market trends to the sales network.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Health Sciences, Nursing, Biology, or a related discipline. A postgraduate qualification may be preferred.
  2. Experience: Between 1-3 years of previous experience in a clinical role related to urology is highly desirable.
  3. Languages: Strong command of written and spoken English.
  4. Office Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools for activity tracking and reporting.
  5. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences, including healthcare professionals and sales teams.
