Overview

The role involves assisting Quality, Production, and Maintenance teams in developing procedures, methodologies, and specifications where engineering expertise is necessary. This position requires monitoring ongoing projects and fostering cultural transformations while managing fundamental tasks such as project protocols, continuous improvement initiatives, waste management, inventory control, and error-proofing techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in the formulation of new product designs as part of the project team.
  • Stay informed about advancements in technology related to manufacturing processes.
  • Play a pivotal role in the industrialization of new product launches.
  • Modify existing production methods to accommodate new product requirements.
  • Meet objectives related to quality, cost, and delivery timelines for new product industrialization.
  • Effectively communicate potential industrial risks to both the production and segment teams.
  • Align and adjust segment requirements for new products with the current production landscape.
  • Actively participate in the Plant Engineering Team focusing on process enhancements, investment strategies, and continuous improvement activities.
QualificationsEducation and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Mechanics or Materials.
  • Methodical, analytical, and disciplined approach to work.
Technical Skills and Requirements
  • A minimum of three years of experience in the industrialization and implementation of new products and processes.
  • Proficiency in pressing, turning, and grinding operations with proven expertise.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; Spanish language skills are advantageous.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • General knowledge and practical experience in lean manufacturing principles (Value Stream Mapping, problem-solving techniques, etc.).
  • Strong communication abilities and capacity to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
